I worked as a nurse for over 30 years including time as a Practice Nurse and most recently as a neonatal intensive care sister. During this time I specialised in pain prevention and the developmental care of premature infants.

A series of life events led me to realise it was the right time to leave my nursing career behind. I decided to train as a reflexologist after finding that reflexology treatment helped me to relax, improved my sleep patterns and also reduced the vertigo I was experiencing.

The ITEC diploma in reflexology and anatomy and physiology for therapists with Richdale's Institute took me nine months to complete in 2015 and since then I have built up experience with a variety of clients and have undertaken additional qualifications or training in facial reflexology, Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage, Indian Head Massage, Orthopody and Pain In Cancer Survivors. I was particularly pleased to have been invited to support the Cancer Support Group at the Mayfair Centre, Church Stretton one week per month during the final quarter of 2018.
